UT-MUL(HT) is an emulsifying and wetting agent specially designed for ultra-high temperature oil-based drilling fluids. It is manufactured through special molecular structure design and sophisticated synthetic processes.
UT-MUL(HT) possesses excellent emulsifying and wetting capacity, can enhance the thermal stability of drilling fluid, endow the fluid with favorable rheological properties, and meanwhile reduce the high-temperature high-pressure (HTHP) fluid loss of oil-based drilling fluids.
UT-MUL(HT) can function normally without performance loss at temperatures up to 232 °C (450 °F). The recommended dosage is 6–8%, subject to the oil–water ratio and drilling fluid density.
