Product Description

UT-L4 is an amine-treated organic lignite, which can form a dense filter cake in oil-based drilling fluids and serves as a high-efficiency fluid loss reducer for oil-based drilling fluids. It effectively controls the high-temperature and high-pressure fluid loss of oil-based drilling fluids with minimal impact on their rheological properties.

Featuring excellent compatibility, UT-L4 is applicable to a variety of oil-based systems including diesel oil-based, white oil-based and synthetic-based fluids. Its addition can improve the emulsification stability and thermal stability of drilling fluid systems, making it especially suitable for high-temperature deep well drilling operations.

UT-L4 is low-toxic, non-fluorescent and heavy metal-free, which is ideal for reservoir drilling. It delivers superior overall performance compared with oxidized asphalt and natural asphalt.
