Product Description

UT-L3 is an amine-treated organic lignite. It can form a compact filter cake in oil-based drilling fluids and is a high-efficiency fluid loss reducer for oil-based drilling fluids. It can effectively control the high-temperature and high-pressure fluid loss of oil-based drilling fluids while exerting little influence on the rheology of oil-based drilling fluids.

UT-L3 features outstanding compatibility and is suitable for various oil-based systems such as diesel base, white oil base and synthetic base. The addition of UT-L3 can enhance the emulsification stability and thermal stability of the drilling fluid system, and it is especially applicable to high-temperature deep wells.

UT-L3 possesses excellent temperature resistance. The high-temperature and high-density oil-based drilling fluid formulated with UT-L3 and supporting materials produced by Unitech Chemicals (Kaiping) Ltd. , including emulsifiers and wetting agents, high-temperature stabilizers and high-temperature organic clays, can withstand temperatures up to 232℃ (450℉).

UT-L3 is low-toxic, non-fluorescent and heavy metal-free, suitable for reservoir drilling. Its comprehensive performance is superior to that of oxidized asphalt and natural asphalt.
