Organic bentonite for DYNAGEL-83 Plus oil-based drilling fluid is an organic bentonite modified by alkyl quaternary ammonium salt, which has good dispersibility, suspension and slurryability in oil-based mud, and is generally used as tackifier, filtrate reducer and sticking remover. It is suitable for various drilling fluid systems such as diesel oil, mineral oil, synthetic oil and modified vegetable oil. DYNAGEL-83 Plus can maintain high ES (electrical stability), low HTHP filtrate and desired rheological property.
Product performance:
l Forming gel structure in base oil to adjust the viscosity and shear of drilling fluid;
l Increase borehole purification capacity and sand carrying capacity;
l Improve the quality of mud cake and reduce mud water loss;
l Increase the suspension of oil-based drilling fluid and suspend weighting materials.
Application field:
In our lab evaluation test, DYNAGEL-83 Plus an work properly in the drilling fluids at temperature of 200oC(392℉) . It is suitable for diesel, low aromatic mineral oil (white oil) oil-based drilling fluid, water-in-oil drilling fluid, etc.
