UTtrol-Ⅲ is a high degree of substitution (DS) hydroxypropyl starch produced through special processing and modification. It is a high-efficiency, environmentally friendly fluid loss additive widely used in oilfield drilling fluids, completion fluids, and workover fluids.
UTtrol-Ⅲ has good compatibility with other drilling fluid additives and can be widely used in various water-based drilling fluid systems.
Due to its special molecular structure, when used in combination with xanthan gum, UTtrol-Ⅲ can provide excellent low-shear-rate viscosity for the drilling fluid system.
This unique polymer combination exhibits a synergistic effect, improving the static suspension capacity of the drilling fluid while delivering excellent pseudoplastic fluid behavior during circulation.
UTtrol-Ⅲ is readily biodegradable and environmentally friendly. It reduces fluid loss while minimizing formation damage to reservoirs, meeting operational requirements for offshore and environmentally sensitive areas.
