





UTstar-Ⅰ is a cross-linked carboxymethyl starch. As a highly efficient fluid loss additive with salt and calcium resistance, it is used in petroleum drilling fluids, completion fluids, and workover fluids.
By modifying the molecular structure of starch, when used in combination with xanthan gum, drilling fluid systems treated with UTstar-Ⅰexhibit excellent low-shear-rate viscosity. This unique polymer combination works synergistically to enhance the static suspension capacity of the drilling fluid, while also delivering favorable pseudoplastic fluid behavior during circulation.
When compounded with suitable bridging agents or weighting particles, UTstar-Ⅰ reduces fluid loss while minimizing formation damage. Therefore, drilling fluids containing UTstar-Ⅰ can be used for drilling into oil-bearing formations.
UTstar-Ⅰ is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, posing no ecological concerns.
